Timing Marks 250cc roketa engine
Hey everyone and anyone you guys were real helpful last time I posted can someone please help me this time I have a 250cc POS roketa buggy that I can not get to excelerate I think after all the things I have done it might be the timing when I took it apart I did not have any diagrams on the timing and I still can not find a timing settings sheet or diagram anywhere and the dealer is a joke to deal with can someone direct me to where I can get some diagrams or sheets or any type of info on the timing marks so that when I take it apart this time I dont have to just wing it and hope for the best
I am told that my engine is a chinese remake of a 250cc Honda Helix motor In need of some help Thanks |

Hey bigpat,
Of all the issues your buggy could have, ignition timing is probably the least likely. Is yours the water cooled CVT engine? If so, that is nothing more than a scooter engine with a reversing hub bolted on where a scooter rear wheel would go. There will likely be tons of info online from scooter enthusiasts that will point you in the right direction. That's how we learned to modify our Gio 150 Monster quad (it uses a GY6 scooter engine). Please tell us what you've done so far, and perhaps we can offer some guidance. Cheers!
