What was this clone based off of??
Do we know if it was a old school Honda???

Sort of, the general concensus is they are *loosely* based on the old Honda XL series. But as I understand it, they are pretty much unique to China, and parts do not interchange with the Hondas, with a few notable exceptions.

There's a sticky under DS/enduro called "PARTs, PARTS, PARTS" that has some of the stuff that actually *will interchange.*

The bottom end is real close to a xl185 by my comparisons.

The other thought is they are based off the cb125 engine.

I heard the stroke and timing is completly different among other things.

Thanks for the help!
Im looking more for sprockets(drive)So far I got 3 I got on line.
Annnnnnnnd they dont fit :evil: I know shaft hole is 20mmx17mm
but the teeth are a weeeeee bit off.

You should be able to find the part numbers under "Sprockets, 428, 520" in the D/s forum, sprocket numbers and what not. As well, the guy with the knowledge of all things sprocket, would be Bruce from EJ cycles...
