07 Lifan TMS200...some issues
So..
After my very first ride last weekend, my speedo cable broke so I really don't know exactly how fast I'm going. Does anyone know where I can get good replacement parts? (also, the top two bulbs of my headlights fell out as well....the bottom ones are in tight, but it looks like to bottom two either melted or snapped out. Just looking for a better fix than duct tape!!!) Also, I want to try and replace the brakes, tires, and air filter within the next few months or so. Any input would really help. Just respond to the topic or send me a PM. Thanks guys!!

Awesome, thanks guys! I just recently joined the american lifan customer service forum, but it's just a litlle hard to get responses there from anyone considering they're all crazy busy!! (which I don't hold against them at all )
Thanks to both of you for the link, I'll be sure to join under this name over there.

...also, this may sound ignorant, but the LF200-iii bikes are the same as the TMS200 right? I'm just not too familiar with the different models, although I must say I've got your post from that link you sent up on my other screen and I'm reading it right now Almon

Hi HappySpillmore,
They are basically the same bike but with little variations. However there are three generations of LF200-III bikes, the latest is from American Lifan only just like the LF200-B. The first two generation were offered by American Lifan and interent dealers but they were not exact, there were some small differences, like exhaust canisters for example. The main difference is service and support which American Lifan offers with all of their bikes. If you buy a bike off the net you are basically the service man for that bike and parts are also hard to come by. I hope our site helps you with your mods, Chinariders is a great place for information but they are mainly concerned with the dual sport bikes where we, lifan-moto.com, are mainly concerned with the sport bikes. Both places offer a great sense of community. Almon |

Thanks Almon.
I'm the second owner of this bike purchased from my local Craigslist (previous owners say they got it from motorcycleswholesale.com) so I'm just trying to figure out what exact model I have....all they told me was Lifan, and in the short amount of research I did before purchasing, I didn't get that deep in my discoveries. My bike looks like this to a T if it helps-- http://www.chinariders.net/gallery2/...g2_itemId=2685
