new K8-NC300 available

I just noticed that PSM has an enduro like the Trailmaster TM38 based on the ZS 2 valve liquid cooled 297cc engine. It has Vitacci logo, listed as a model DB-G044.

It is an EFI fueled off-road only bike, no turn signals or tail light. It is listed at the same price as the Paladin. That NC300 has been bolted into GPX, Trailmaster and a few others for a while and is probably a very dependable powerplant making 26 horsepower. At 292cc, the four valve head and larger diameter headpipe in the Paladin make claimed 34hp. I haven't ridden on a bike with the NC300.

So who is buying one of these K8-NC300 enduros???

The Trailmaster TM38 costs $1000 more than this Vitacci K8-NC300

Same NC300 engine, and it appears to be a zumaav build. For the price, I admit that I like my Paladin better than the Vitacci K8 but it is a deal compared to the TM38. I'd like to have them side by side to check out components. Maybe the TM38 is worth $3900 !

Interesting, I don't know why anyone would pick this over the KLX300 based Paladin 300 when the price is the same. It's the same chassis with a different engine, I suppose with the new K10 models(with the "new" NX250 2017 KTM engine clone) coming out they want to push out all the A/S/K-8 models.

Sam Cake made 24hp/20ft-lbs with his NC300 GPX 300R running a custom Aracer ECU.

A 250SXF engine clone? This sounds interesting. That engine was set up in 2017 to make it's best power well above 10k rpm. It's not a powerplant for most people as intended. Maybe it will be tuned for better midrange in the cloned version?

Yes, a 250SXF engine clone. It put down 37.6hp and 23.1 ft-lbs on a dyno.

Huh? What is?

The original KTM version of this engine makes 43hp. It is a clone, where the EFI module is certainly less competition oriented.
