There is one of my early posts on the Storm. Comfortable seat, nice rack, inverted front forks, counterbalanced CGclone. Nice.

After reading through a few more of your threads, Ive decided on the Templar M. Its got more of want (USD, 20hp motor, skid plate) off the bat, and is just a darn good deal considering what it includes. i dont see the need for a 6th gear (no asphalt) but would like a bigger tank than the base templar.

Its a little taller than id like, but ive been told that is remedied by practice- which is the entire purpose of riding a zero guilt when dropped dirt bike in the first place!
Thank you all, I'll share photos when i get the bike.

sounds like you did as much analysis as I did. I'm a spreadsheet nut and over-think everything.

Any of them you choose will do fine for your needs. As for that eventual TAT (my goal as well), I like the new Himilayan 452 and the MCMoto 450 IBEX. However, when looking at the specs they are both VERY comparable to my current KLR650 Gen 1 model so my thought is that I'll stick with my KLR for the TAT. IF I wanted to move to a current machine both of these would be on my short list because the prices are so attractive. I like the T7, but I think it's actually more than I need. Just some food for thought. For now, enjoy the dirt/gravel roads!

It looks like the Bashan bikes (Storm/Brozz) or the TBR7 are the best bets then. I cant seem to access Peace's page- are the Brozz Recon coming back?
I am interested in that spreadsheet if you would like to share!

welp

Well my plan for a Templar M didnt pan out. I found a 2021 Brozz Recon on FB marketplace that needs some TLC, but i believe will fit my purpose. Will follow up with a working thread. Kid already approves!
