greetings from texas

long time lurker, I spent a few months debating and finally decided to pull the trigger on a hawk dlx. I purchased it assembled from tx motorsports on a Thursday night and they delivered it on a flatbed trailer to the small town I live in just outside of Waco on Monday afternoon. I spent the afternoon taking the bolts out and applying lock tight and witness marking most of the bolts with a paint pen. this is my first motorcycle i have put a little over 50 miles on it it will be for street/dirt road only.

Waco! I used to live there many years ago (12+) when I went to TSTC. I'll bet things have changed quite a bit since.
Cameron Park certainly makes a nice scenic ride with a few winding roads. The Hwy 6 bridge over Lake Waco would make a good one too, amongst the many country back roads there.
Welcome, and hope you have fun with your new ride.

Oh it definitely has changed there is way more things to do and see. I graduated from TSTC 13 years ago for automotive. We stay in the country to the east about 30 minutes. The twin bridges and motocamping at lake waco are actually my goal for when I gain more confidence on the bike.
