It annoys the hell out of me. He is not really a kid; he's 25. I told him, "You don't buy a Chinabike, throw it together without using any Loctite or checking all the bolts, then get on it and ride it like a Honda right out of the box." The next thing you know, it breaks, and then the dummy is whining about it when he didn't take the time for proper setup or break-in. It is taking a monumental effort on my part at this point not to chastise the F out of him. He said something to his friend about it having a 30-day warranty. Well, I doubt very much they are going to honor it if he blows it up through stupidity. I sure as heck won't back him or lie about it. PSM has been good to me. Anyway, rant mode: off.

I know you’re going to be pissed off at me, but we were all young and dumb at some stage in life…

The thing is, he has a Yz250 that he's rebuilt three times now because the piston keeps going. You would think he would understand to baby it when its first installed, but he won't do it. Instead spends hundreds on pistons instead of my grandbabies. Eh well, not the place to talk about it. Just get frustrated with people and I know we were all young once. Hell, I used to put electrical tape over the check engine light in my old $500.00 beaters.

It doesn't make it any less frustrating, but keep in mind, your Son-in-Law's age 25 vs my/your age 25 are likely 2 radically different things.

I love your links! lol
I know it's somewhat off topic, but the scams of today are literally the scams of yesterday with a new name and even stupider and more corrupt faces to market them to the last 2 generations. My scientific education is overlooked as science which is electronics engineering, but a 2-year degree in my field in any school in America requires 70% of the same class credits in a 4-year physics degree. Unlike physicists, engineers actually produce results and technology whereas physicists like to theorize, calculate predictions and design crap that rarely ever works in the prototyping stage and my field has to fix for them lol.

Without over digressing, I'm actually very personally tied to some of the most famous people on earth some of whom are personal friends of Greta's and I can tell you they are ultimately the most despicable people I have ever known.
May god have mercy on their souls.
