I bought one of these a few months ago.
When it arrives you need to uncrate it. The shipping cage has a lot of 10mm bolts. I set up my drill/driver with a 10mm socket and it went fast. Assembling it is easy if you've worked on cars or bikes. You install the front fender and wheel/tire, turn indicators, mirrors, footpeg assembly, battery, I forget what else. Everything's metric. There are lots of how to videos out there. Install a quality spark plug. A suitable plug is NGK CR7HSA, amazon.com/dp/B000CSIRXW Do an initial oil change. Ride it gently and don't use full throttle or high rpm's for at least 100 miles. Do another oil change in 100 miles or so. Check and adjust chain tension often in the first 100 miles. (Chains don't "stretch", they wear, and cheap chains have a lot of initial wear-in.) You'll want to go to a 17 tooth sprocket, amazon.com/dp/B010UQJ4R8 I installed a small LED tail light cause I thought it looked better, amazon.com/gp/product/B095M14TN6. I had to do a solder connection, it didn't just plug in. The headlight is already LED. Don't worry about doing the emissions system delete right away, although the bike looks a lot cleaner when you do. I made my own block off plate. You also need to plug a couple of vacuum lines and a vent line coming off the gas tank. Good luck and have fun. |

Exhaust Stud
Accidently broke off one of the exhaust studs on the engine. Before I spend way too long trying to figure out a replacement part, any of you guys know what it'd likely be?
