Howdy from Connecticut (Lifan KPX250)

Saying 'hi' from CT (originally from TX). Newly proud owner of a Lifan KPK250 after much research. Been reading these forums and watching lots of YouTube videos from JerryHawk250, Herbies Garage, and more, and decided this bike was the one for me. Been happy with it so far. Got it to scratch a motorcycle itch, since I haven't had one in about 10 years when I sold my old cruiser. Wanted to try a dual sport for some off-roading.

Successfully got it registered here after towing it to the DMV. Been breaking it in by riding locally, but want to get up to the trails at Pachaug State Park. Hope to get some more rides in before the weather gets too cold. The leaves are starting to change, which makes for excellent scenery.

Hoping to participate here with updates to upgrades and mods, and good riding spots if there's any other locals.

Welcome! Hey, next time your out on a ride and you pull over, take your phone out and grab some shots. Most of us love that old skool content.

Actually, got a shot this last Sunday while out on a ride to Pachaug. Rode the dirt roads there which was fun and scenic. Enduro trails in the immediate area looked tougher than what I'd be comfortable with. At least until I get a skid plate and some handguards. Found a cider mill on the way back that was actually close to home, and stopped for some refreshments. Benefits of motorcycles is easy parking, because the place was packed full of cars.
