Hawk 250 throttle cable

Hey guys. 2021 Hawk 250 DLX here. I didn't find any real definitive answers after searching this one. Mine snapped. Amazon is definitely no help. I can't seem to confirm if the CSC tt250 will work. The pics from the various Hawk dealers look a tad different from mine with some connection stuff half way in, and they're $50.

Anyone got good info on where to get one and if the RPS etc Hawks are different lengths and design from the DLX?

Is it true that a local cycle shop will fit a cable to fit broken motorcycle cables?

Thanks!

TBR7 Throttle Cable is probably the exact same.
You can get it at PartsKit for $2.30 + Shipping

I just ordered one. $2.30 plus $4.99 shipping. Picture has it looking kinda the same with a threaded end near the throttle wheel and of course the handle bar connection. We'll see, I'll keep you all posted.

Thanks Slug!

Just an FYI to Slug and everyone if this helps. The TBR7 throttle cable DOES NOT fit. I'm starting to believe the throttle setup for the efi hawk and the carbed is different. I'll try to post pics tomorrow when I get some time. Essentially, the throttle body side of my bikes cable has a thread and nut application as opposed to the last two I've purchased.

If anyone else has a hailmary idea let me know. I'm going to have to go ahead and buy the $50 one and get back on this bike

Hawk Throttle Cable

My 2024 (carburetor fueled) Hawk had a factory throttle cable that was 3/4 of an inch too long - too long to adjust with the adjusting threads, and so long that the bike couldn't idle without constant pressure on the throttle grip.

I found a company in the southern US called Venhill (Venhill.com) that designed and made me a custom length cable. Cost: $65 plus shipping. The end result was a perfect fit.

Do any of these look like they might work?

Looks like dude fabbed something up. Maybe give that a try? Will be cheaper.

Here's one for the Titan DLX, $20:
