Magician 250 electrical issues

Hi there. I recently bought a highly used magician from a co worker. It's been a lot of work! All I have left to do is get the horn and lights working.

(The speedo cluster doesn't work, but I'm not too worried about that)

I seem to not getting power to anything. I've had to run a separate power wire to get the electric start to work again.

Has anyone bypassed the wiring, and wired up the lights to its own separate harness? The plan is to have the lights on always. I have a battery disconnect on the positive terminal of the battery.

Also, are turn signals required to pass inspection in Texas?

Thanks

Update: cut ground wire right by kickstand switch. Would that make ALL of my lights not work?

Start with the ground wires and connections, then move to the fuse/s and fuse block/holders. The check battery terminals and the 12v + live wire.

After that you can work on isolated circuits.
