Bought another camp 5 doors down the river from mine ,now I have one to give each of my kids when I pack it in .I kind of stole it ,paid about a third of its value because I have been helping the old owner haul things and build things with my big boat ,and he wanted me to have it .

RIGG Gear Saddle bags.

The $60aud ghost racing saddle bags have failed after about 1 year...
Zipper stitching main issue...Never a true waterproof bag.

I found these on Amazon which seemed to be about half the price of similar wet/dry saddle bags. I couldn't find anything cheaper either...

First impressions out of the box seem very good. Are they worth 3x more? I would probably say yes.

I was not expecting the pull out grey insert bags which was nice bonus.

That's quite a hike for a work out. Just burn the vape crap.

I really had to talk myself into the gym membership. As a former long distance cyclist, it seems wrong. But there are less and less safe places to ride. Hell, to ride anywhere from Cheesy Manor, one must spend some time on a state highway. The road itself isn't bad; wide paved shoulder with grooves cut in the centerline and grooves with a different spacing on the fog line so you can hear up coming traffic. Having been hit from behind, though, I wince and tighten up every time a vehicle passes me. PTSD, I guess.

Recently I bought tragacanth gum because it is used in making of hand lotions, denture adhesives, vaginal creams and jellies. It is also known as Gond Katira in herbology.

A new skid plate for my KLR. $111 delivered. Used my bonus points from Rocky Mountain ATV/Moto. Cost less than the few days worth of groceries I bought yesterday. Vote smart in November...

I thought it was COVID that caused supply chain failures leading to inflation. Not a politician. Can't vote out a virus. No one could have prevented it.

The only cause of inflation is the Federal Reserve Bank and Government Deficit spending.

It was Government policy that locked down the world...not the wuhflu...

It would be quite a hike ,but I was thinking more along the lines of I give you this equipment and you have your own commercial quality gym at the manor .
I got hit once on my marinoni ,saw it coming but just couldn’t get out of the way ,bike damage only to the rear wheel ,didn’t even fall off ,but I didn’t want to ride anymore or at least for several years ,and I only got back into it on a mountain bike and mostly off road or I don’t think it would of happened .I can’t imagine getting flattened like you did and riding again ,but good for you for doing it .Please stay off the damned roller skates though .

As i mentioned yesterday, I picked up this topper for free this morning. Quite surprised how well it fits on the truck given it was from a '96 F250. Need to fine tune some clearances but it works well as is. Fitting it revealed that the bed was in fact tweeked a bit when i was t boned a couple years ago. I think it shifted a bit and combined with worn cab bushings it made fitting the topper a bit interesting..

I didn't mean to start a political argument, disagreement or opinion here. I was just reminding everyone to vote in November and make your decisions based on the current state of the economy. Remember, the feds are not he only ones that affect prices. Local and state officials and ballot initiatives can have an effect on the economy as well. That said, enough politics, let's go for a ride...

I guess the economy has political innuendo, but I agree- keep partisan opinions out of it. Those are just facts about legislation and a time line.

More than 300,000 people died of COVID in the USA alone, and the majority of those people were not vaccinated. Many were already sick or weakened.

I also agree that we need to participate, and vote! We live in a new era of disinformation and fake news. It is amazing what you hear people say, or get AI generated speech put in their mouths. Now that is something to worry about!
