Did you pull the tank to snake the wires or attach it to the fuel sender?

Anybody have a link to the digital speedo ? I have a 2019 TBR7

Here are 2 options most direct fit etc:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/303590150927
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tao-Tao-TBR...d/303590147637

Plug into stock loom - connect 2 wires and wheel sensor.
No gear ind to mess with, no repinning as well as more funky feuters etc

I cannot understand why finding th large 6 pn plug on left side of the bike with the blue/white wire is such a struggle? That said the CDI is the same wire as it is the pick up sensor etc.
sure you CAN sneak thse two wires past the tank but could you do that and have them secured, neat and tucked out of the way? maybe/maybe not....

its not a struggle but the wiring on these bikes has a way of changing from time to time and not being consistent...thats why i think being more specific would be helpful.... i think you are using a somewhat vague description...... electrical connections are not vague but exacting.

Blue and white wire goes to blue and white wire on the bike.
It’s 1 wire....
Big connector on hawks n TBR7 or some have a bullet connector like the CQR etc
Um....
I don’t see vagueness but I did mention using a little common sense....
Sorry but I fail to see the drama as America is a smart place n went to the moon.. so I’d assume there’s gotta be a little common sense in everyone to find 1 equally colored wire.......

Colors of wires on china cheap bikes stay the same, hawk or TBR7 uses same colors same functions etc - they don’t change.
Plug or pin out might but simple common sense solves that.
Also common sense as to how you want to run the wires or finish it off is up to the installer....
The TBR7 is the easiest most basic to instal - plug in the logical plugs directly no gear wires needed as it plugs to stock loom, run 1 battery wire and 1 tachometer wire....

I really fail to grasp with a little thinking how this is so complex....

What messing with do you think it requires? I have that cluster and installed it last week. At the time I ordered, you had no inventory or were feeling the pains of international shipping issues; hawkclusters@gmail.com was not selling anymore.

My speedo is accurate within 2mph at 55mph. All lights and functions work as expected.

Like you say about connecting the tach wire, it's common sense and easy. The gear indicator wires were stupid simple too. Literally match the colors and stick them into the plug until they click. There's a 6th gear wire and a purple wire not used.

Boom! Done!

I agree though, people are making this out to be so complicated... It's not.

No doubt easy with a little thought, TBR7 already has the gear ind wire so easier without the long wire
There’s a thread with a guy who bought that other speedo and can’t get it to work...
I pin mine as per customers needs and as you see in my thread I’ve got 2 option and several extra things in mine that just make it a bit more then a basic setup like this you got.
Hey I’m bias!

Sounds fair! I'd be biased towards my own products too; you'd be a bad business operator if you weren't.

Doesn't yours have variable backlight colors? Curious about the extra features...

Yes change backlight
Some clock or volt meter
Power out plug for usb
Dial in for all wheel sizes by the centimeter
Bross or TT style.
Can change all parameters to suit other needs etc
Just more changes you can make to customize to your taste or needs
Everything any other has mine has but I added more options etc

Just wanted to mention that my new 2023 TBR7 doesn't have the BLU/WHT wire behind the headlight, on either the Male of Female half of the cluster connector.

I'm going to run a wire from the CDI module to see if that works for the tach.

EDIT: That did work!
