Loncin 150cc engine parts

I have just picked up a 149cc Loncin pit bike unfortunately it is missing the engine cover for the magneto and for the life of me I cannot find anything remotely close that would fit the closest I’ve been is being able to find a photo for reference of what it should look like. Is there any other engines out there that are similar that would possibly work? It has a LC162FMJ engine. I know I can still ride it without it but would rather get one to make my bike look complete.

Can you post up the pic of what it should look like, to give us an idea of what you need?

The pictures are kind of small to get an idea of the overall shape, can you post a few pics of the left side of your engine, if you don't mind?

Looks like you're missing a fastener for the lower engine mount.

It’s missing a few bolts here and there in the process of fixing it up but just missing the engine cover to have it complete

your best bet will be searching Aliexpress for a 150cc side cover...

It looks to be a specific shape and not easily miss matched...

As for the case cover bolts they should all be M6 so you can replace them all with button head hex key bolts...

Hey! Bummer about the missing engine cover. Try searching for parts from other Chinese pit bikes or scooters with similar engines. You might also find something compatible with a GY6 engine. If not, you could fab your own or hit up a local machine shop. Good luck!
