X-Pro 150 Storm DLX Valve lash setting

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I just bought a 2024 X-Pro 150 DLX STORM that I'm absolutely loving. Im taking my time going over everything and would like to know peoples thought on the best valve lash setting for both the exhaust and intake? I appreciate any thoughts or input. Thanks in advance

I adjusted both intake and exhaust on mine to .004 and it's ran like a champ ever since.

Most advice is to adjust the exhaust valve slightly looser, because it heats up more due to the hot exhaust gases. This causes the valve stem to expand, resulting in the exhaust valve not fully closing if the gap is too small when it was adjusted cold.

The intake is actually cooled by the incoming fuel/air mix, so generally there is no problem with it.

On really small motors, such as 125cc and less, this is somewhat less of an issue because there is just not as much heat generated by the motor.

By the way, the owner's manual that came with your DLX150 is pretty helpful overall. It states to set the valves both at .004.
