That kink could only have been caused by over rotation during install.


Other than that everything look ok.

the adapter is an oring seal (though I also added ptfe plumbers tape) So it has to seat, that position is clocked about the same as mine. Have not had an adapter line up vertical (6 o'clock) and I'm fairly sure the threads are being cut fairly consistent.



However it is important to note that the lower hole position should pass through to sump lower case portion while the upper hole mates up to the center and feeds the pump inlet.

This is what I came up with for a repair. Got about 700 more miles on it and hasn't leaked a drop. Kinda over did it on the clamps but didn't know what kind of pressure there actually is. Also, source the banjo parts on Amazon. Got two, I believe hardened steel, for around $10. And don't over tighten your stock ones like I obviously did. If its leaky, carefully reposition and slowly tighten. Many thanks all!
