Our first adventure. 717 miles on little Hondas

Myself, my son and two of his buddies recently rode Lifan 125 powered little Hondas, 717 miles around the upper loop of Lake Michigan.

Never even thought about using these China clone engines to give new life to old Honda's. Man, good stuff!

Never throw out an old horizontal engined Honda, give them new life and functionality with a modern Chinese engine. The result is better than original. I've swapped Lifan engines into a couple Trail 90s and a Cub and they all ran great. Still have a 68 Trail 90 with a Lifan 140 engine.

Great tour! What it's all about.

Curious about one thing, though. That rider in the Canadian Tuxedo.....what was in that tube that he had strapped to his pack>

It was a fishing pole. He was hoping we’d break down along a stream somewhere. Haha. Unfortunately, he never got to use it.
