Hawk 250 gas tank peacock thread size?

I want to preemptively treat a gas tank and need to find the thread size of it so I can buy a cap to cap it while I use the degreaser metal prep and tank sealer, what size threads are on a gas tank and where can I get a threaded cap to use to temporarily seal it for tank treatment?
