Lifan Xpect 200 suspension

I am looking to order an Xpect 200 for my wife and daughter to learn how to ride and also get m/c endorsement. They are not tall and I took them to local Yamaha dealer to sit on a TW200. They can sit on it with the balls of their feet reaching the floor. However, the TW's seat height is 31.1. The xpect is 32.7. The TW has quite stiff suspension, and doesn't squat much. My question, then, is does the Lifan sag much with a rider's weight and will work for them, or do I need to look for something smaller?

Thanks in advance,
Alan

The Xpect should sag some when sat on, and I do believe they have an adjustable preload that you can then help set the rider sag for them. If not, a 10mm shorter shock will lower the back of the bike about an inch. (roughly 1 inch for every 10mm).

The TW suspension likely also has those same adjustments, and if not I know there are some good aftermarket rear shock options for them. The stock suspension should also loosen up with riding.

Good to know. I really prefer the Lifan. I was also thinking, that if I had to, I could remove fabric and shave an inch off the seat foam.
The only other option I see is perhaps a Vader, but it wouldn't seem to be very good for gravel and dirt roads.

X-pects are good bikes. I sold mine due to being too tall for the seat, since it has a step in it. The X-pect seat kept me too far forward, and I felt quite cramped. But I am 5'11", so there's that. That seat should be fine for their needs.

Also I wanted better highway capability. Replaced it with an even taller KPX 250.
