Cool I can post now. I don't know what happened there. I couldn't post at all yesterday.

I have the same problem with the 43 tooth. I'd like to drop the front down now. Chain wear is not that much of a problem.

As far as we can tell you weren't banned, there must have been some technical issues. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hopefully this post will work.
I shoehorned this fuel filter in there. A tad large. No flow problems though.

Got the filter in. 42mm did not fit. Some idiot put the shock mount in the way. Nice. Ghetto rig to the rescue. I used the stock airbox inlet tube cut off after the radius and gorilla taped it to a piece of 1.5 inch PVC then to the filter. I guess you could call it a cold air now. Hey it's a street beater right?

It looks like the air filter is out of the path of the rear tire, which is very good.

Instead of PVC and tape, try taking the filter and intake tube into the local Lowes or Home Depot and see if you can find some black ABS pipe that will fit. You can lightly sand off the plumbing manufacturer letters, and it will look close enough to factory.

The OP hasn't been on this forum since 2016, FYI.
