the adapter is an oring seal (though I also added ptfe plumbers tape) So it has to seat, that position is clocked about the same as mine. Have not had an adapter line up vertical (6 o'clock) and I'm fairly sure the threads are being cut fairly consistent.
However it is important to note that the lower hole position should pass through to sump lower case portion while the upper hole mates up to the center and feeds the pump inlet. |
