Is this solenoid wiring correct?
When I try to start my ATV, instead of turning over it just 'click's.
Attached is a picture of the wiring, is it correct? Also the green/red wire goes to ground, I believe, as it is just bolted on to the frame. |

The heavy duty red wire goes from the battery to the solenoid, and then from the solenoid to the starter motor.
One of the two smaller gauge wires is the power IN from the starter button on the handlebars. (red/yellow, I believe), and the other wire is the ground. Also make sure you have a fully charged battery to crank the engine over. There shouldn't be ANY other wires hooked to the terminal ends where the big red wires are attached. |

Also, if the starter button on the handlebars has black and white wires coming out of it, a PO was using that to essentially "jump" the two terminals on the solenoid, probably instead of replacing the solenoid.
That would explain the red/yellow not going anywhere. If that's the case, replace the solenoid. |

You might want to try rereading thoroughly through your thread from 6 months ago, where people provided you with a ton of information and instructions, and your appreciation for their efforts was summed up in one word: BUMP

Also there is another wire on the terminal with the red wire going to the battery, what could it be and where else is it supposed to be connected to (maybe directly to the battery)? |
