Tw200 ?

The TW200 is a little tractor. It is not a performer, but if you need to get there and it isn't paved, the thing is like a horse.

So... what is the closest substitute from all of the Chinese brands? I mean real 18" fat tire knobby front, and big fat 14" rear tire

Maybe it doesn't exist. I know there are smaller wheeled versions. Yamaha has successfully locked in this market.

Sky team v raptor ,also the Suzuki van van has always been popular in Europe ,I bet there is a clone of it over there which would be a similar bike .

The only known competitor to the fat rear agricultural bike is the Suzuki Van Van...

the Tdub is more offroad oriented...the vanvan more onroad...

As for the question are there china clones of either? not that I'm aware of.

Shame. The TW200 is like the mature grown up descendent of Honda Z50A mini trail. It sez "get there". The TW200 sez "get there" in comfort.
Tragic absence. The market generally abhores a vacuum, but the vacuum must be recognized first!

Agreed Yamaha has that market sewed up. Honda used to make one as well the TR200 Fat Cat. But they quit with it. I would love to have a T dub but people are proud of them and they hold their value, a good used one would cost me more than my KPX cost me. I think if a Chinese company jumped on this they would clean up here in the U.S. A fat tire, low seat height, small displacement, street legal Dual Sport would do well I think. I see the seat height of these Chinese Dual Sports turn some folks away. Heck even I have to put my left foot on the foot peg to get my old arse on the KPX. LOL

My neighbor had one and sold it a few years ago. I told him I wanted it if he ever decided to sell it. I guess he forgot. That bike was in mint condition. I've only saw him ride it a hand full of times.

The old Zong Sierra was a stubby-tired bike. Probably the closest thing China ever built to the T-Dub. Took the same motor too, if I recall correctly. Spud documented the heck out of that bike. I wish they were still available.

Well, The Yammie is available all over the country for ~$3800 used to $5500 new. $4000 will get you a low miles cream puff. But what else could I buy for that kind of money? Lots more! A Chinese version for $2500 would get scooped up.

Still available. Now we just need to get someone to import them.

Well, these are kinda sorta like a TW. Tires aren't as big but smaller diameter than normal dirt bikes.

Yes! The Sierra (also rebadged under 2 other companies here) cloned the engine of the TW200. Spud is sorely missed from here with his TW200, and later, CSC RX3 threads. Anyone know what happened?

Yep As close to a TW200 or Zongshen Sierra as we are going to get, if you don't mind having a Suzuki-cloned engine...

Spud ended up buying the Kawalski Versys 300 and riding off into the sunset. He did have some hard failures with his RX3 (it was a super early one) and I think this was the catalyst to get him to graduate.
Yes, he and may other China Rider icons are sorely missed.
