Question Wolf ex-150 GY6 oil type

Bought a 2018 Wolf ex150cc, seems to be in good shape. The sticker on the motor says use only 15w-40. I don't have a manual. A lot of people (including some shops I called) all said I can put 10w-40 in it. I already have JASO MB 10w-40 and currently waiting on a $25/qt bottle of 15w-40 scooter spec oil coming in the mail. I did the oil change already with the 10w-40 but will probably put the 15w-40 in there once it arrives, just to satiate my crippling OCD.

Am I good? I only put about 5 miles on with the 10w-40 and have no clue what was put in before, but it probably wasn't $25/qt scooter oil, lol.

Thanks in advance.
