Front & Rear Sprocket for Venom X22r Max

Venom just shipped out my X22R Max. I am looking to change out the front sprocket, rear sprocket, flash the ECU, change tires and delete the air box if it even has one (no one has complete details of the bike as of yet). I want to switch to a 17T front sprocket like I did with my X22. But when it comes to the rear, I am not familiar with the teeth size and what size chain I would need afterwards. I want to have more room in first gear before I have to shift, which on the X22, all I had to do was up to a 17T front sprocket. Any suggestions for the rear sprocket? Any suggestions help! I will also be posting video of the unboxing, modding, riding, bike meets with other chinese bike riders in southern ohio (DAYTON).

You may want to get the bike first before ordering sprockets to see if you actually need to change the gear ratio. The bike does have a 6 speed transmission and my be properly geared already. EFI is a different animal compared to a carb. I would leave the stock airbox as is. The ECU needs to monitor the air intake temperature sensor which is normally located in the air box to adjust fuel mixture. Once you have the bike you will know what sprockets are installed and can go from there if needed. You also need to verify if it takes a 428 or 520 pitch chain and sprocket.

After looking at the pictures of the X22R Max I see it comes with a 520-35T rear sprocket. It will more than likely come with a 13T on the front.

You know what is funny? I was hoping you would be the one to reply. Thank you for all of the info! I got to tinker with my brother in laws X22R Max. Problem is, when I finally decided I wanted one, he up and sold his and he had no info to provide me lol. So with that being said, are you suggesting leaving on the 13T? I do apologize if it is a redundant question. I just got into modding these bikes with my X22. A lot of fun with the trial & error process. The reason I was choosing to delete the air box and use a can am filter with hose attachment is because MJTech deleted the airbox from the Vitacci TITAN 250 EFI Motorcycle, Manual 6 Speed, which I was using as a reference.
