Anyone seen this headlamp assy?
Looks like i have to replace the whole assy!

This is the D model. I cannot seem to pry it apart without damage.
Really frustrating!

Looks to me like a sealed LED projector style headlight. Generally speaking, the whole assembly gets replaced when it quits working.

EDIT: I just did 5 seconds of research with google - The newest versions of the Deluxe TBR7 come with full LED lighting stock. That headlight absolutely is a sealed LED projector unit, so there is no bulb, and it is not designed to be changed.

Well that sucks but i think you are right.
Just my luck it went out so early.

I need to find a replacement for it. Preferably one i can change the bulb.

Any suggestions?
I found the old style still looking for this style.

Thanks for your help.

Funny enough, that LED headlight looks almost identical in shape to a TT250/Hawk 250 H4 headlight housing.

You could also join me and a few others on the round headlight side.

That one on Ebay is close but not the same.
Your solution with the round one may be the way to go.
I like it.

Do you think i can use the Hawk complete Assembly?
Can you replace the bulb on that one? If so, that is tempting.

I was really impressed with this light but if i cannot change the bulb i would rather replace the whole thing.

Well, if you have the same size forks as the Hawk, these are the brackets I am using.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/403571547789

They are more expensive than some of the cheap kits you can find, but they are also much much thicker, CNC machined, and fit like a dream. They clamp down securely with almost no torque on the bolts. Worth the money IMHO.

This is the headlight housing in the picture, but mine is gloss. https://www.ebay.com/itm/30410585210...3ABFBM4OW1ptFh

This is the style I am switching to with my headlight since the bigger one can't go any higher than what you see in the picture because it hits the lock cylinder and the gauge cluster wiring. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285099276576

There are all in one styles like this one, bulb and all, for a decent price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/16433661720...Bk9SR-C00KbRYQ

Looking at these.
They are LED and look to be replaceable.

Time to do some research.

Thanks Dan.

Those are definitely good options too if you want to keep the dual sport look. You may have to make brackets to mount them, but they would definitely do the job.

OK. This looks like it should work.
Uses an H4 bulb.
The price is definitely right. There are a few like this.
Think i will get one on order.
Will update when i have it installed.

Also, back flushing my Petcock did not work. Took it for a ride and it bogged down again. Flipped it to reserve and all was good. May play with it some more but will probably just order another. On the bright side, my fuel gage started working so there is that.

Just be aware that those mount brackets are a little flimsy and can be prone to sliding down slowly over time. There is a reason I spent the extra money on the cnc brackets, it was experience lol. Hopefully it works out for you though. It should at least function, and if any part of it needs replaced you can do so when needed.
