Did anyone else see the CSC Haylon price drop?
They must not be selling the Haylon very well because they dropped the price to $3795. I didn't think much of the Haylon, as there is no shortage of small sporty or streetfighter type machies on the market. The Benelli 302S in particular was the same price and has way better styling and a proven track record.
But for $3795, well shit that's only $100 more than the MSRP of the 2017 SSR Buccaneer 250i that I bought in 2019. While the Haylon is no great machine going by the spec sheet, it does look nice and it's got the wonderful 380cc twin that the SG400 has. I'll bet the suspension is a bit naff, just like all the other CSC bikes, but at this price that can be overlooked. If I didn't already have an SG400, I'd now be somewhat interested. It's just too good a deal. Of course, it also means it will likely be a one-year-wonder for the States, and in a few years you'll be sourcing parts from Aliexpress instead of from CSC. Again... at this price I'd overlook that too. Charles. |

If I didn't already have a Vulcan S I would be all over the Haylon.
