Thumbs Up 2006 200CC Wildfire HI BIRD MOTORCYCLE/SCOOTER INFO

Hey Rider family,
I'm Zane, also a new member. I have a 06 Wildfire that I have owned for quite some time now. I paid $300.00 for it. I have the title also. In my research online, I have only found 2 others like it.I am looking for any information and opinions on fixing it up. Anyone know where I can find parts and accessories for it? It starts and runs fine, but it needs some tuning up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and hope to get to know some of y'all.

Welcome aboard! Cool looking little bike. Looks like a typical CG200 engine. Engine parts will be easy to find.

My guess on engine is Lifan OEM. Heck, I believe Wildfire had Lifan as their OEM for pretty much all their lineup. Wildfire did something to get in trouble with the EPA, and they stopped selling bikes. Ohio was their HQ.

American Lifan

Hi Zane . New here also .
I have the exact same make and year little bike . The manufacturer of the motor is infact Lifan but I wouldn't count on Lifan for any help what so ever . I contacted American Lifan in an attempt to find a wiring diagram . I was told they couldn't help me at all . I was str8 up just blown off. Come on now . Your telling me you don't know how to wire your own motor . Its to bad , they have a good little motor . The 2 that I've had run like raped apes . I have a small ground up build that I was going to order a new Lifan 200cc for but now I'm going to buy a rocketa 300cc Vtwin . Just because of the lowsy treatment I got .

I just felt I should share a little .

Good luck with that little hot rod . It can be a riot!

A little suggestion . If its running rough try running 93 or higher octane . It took care of my rough idle and popping though the carb

If it's idling roughly, it needs the air-idle mixture screw adjusted, and if it's popping, it's running lean or dirty (the pilot jet is dirty/too small)... These motors don't need 93 or higher. They run on 85/87 just fine. They're a low-compression, low-performance, air-cooled design. Running high octane is just blowing extra money out the tailpipe. Running higher octane is just putting a band aid on the issue, fix it right and it will run even better than it's running now, but on low octane gas.

Yeah most definitely man. As far as getting it running to perfection just explain which part seems to be the problem you know carb top bottom whatever also just tell Google what parts you want, and if you are looking for specifics give me a shout, and I will let you know the best place where I think you can get it from, and I mean per part.

You should check the engine for any stamped labels, but i'm pretty sure it's 163FML. As Jerry said, it's a typical example of CG engine family (clones of Honda CG), and it's produced by literally anyone who is involved in motorcycle manufacturing in China, millions on units per year. So, it won't be a problem to find spare engine parts, just by googling 163FML or CG200. It doesn't have to be Lifan parts exclusively.
