Bull 200 chain tensioner helper spring

I noticed the spring on my chain tensioner was getting a little weak so I added another spring to it.I didn't really know which spring would be the best so I ordered a long one with a good amount of stretch and I ordered a shorter one with very little stretch.I ended up going with the longer one because of where I had to place the eye bolt.Seems the throttle response is more instant with the tighter chain.

chain tighter

your suppose to adjust t he chain..... the tighter is JUST A HELPER .... not the cure for a loose chain... tighten the chain to the proper adjustment... and use the spring that came wiht it..

It's not as tight as you think it is.Spring only has 9lbs of load pounds which is not very much.Spring is a Prime-Line SP9622 which actually only has 8.64 maximum load pounds.I can actually just do away with the other spring,I have already had to weld the hook back to the original spring that come with the chain tensioner.I consider this spring the back up,lol
