Hawk 250 DLX, missing bolt, help would be appreciated!
Hello, I recently bought a hawk 250 dlx, and have been giving her the beans.
Naturally, I forgot to loctite a bolt (clutch inspection screw?), and it has been lost to the void after vibrating loose. https://arlingtonpowersports.com/hawk-250-flywheel/ In this diagram, it is part #21. Any idea what the exact name of this bolt is, or where I can buy one? Arlington powersports has been useless, and said they'd call back but never did. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this bike is my main source of income, and it is painful to have it dead in the water. Thank you! |

They are pretty universal parts. Called side cover caps. There are a couple different sizes, but for the most part Honda used the same ones across a wide array of engines, and there are a million of them floating out there from China as replacements.
This literally popped up searching 250cc side cover caps as my first result on ebay lol. https://www.ebay.com/itm/35395566115...8AAOSwq1tiK0sZ

I used a cork from a bottle and some gorilla tape once when I had one break out on a trail. Not going to say it didn't leak a little, but hey, it got me by.

I actually did carry a cork. It's proven a rather useful thing to have on hand, and it's small and super light weight. Other things to have on hand, I keep velcro wrapped around a tube on my bike along with a length of bailing wire. I often forget they exist until I go to do a service and I see them lol.
