2021 TBR7 issues

So I have less than 1000 miles on my TBR7 and I have to issues I’m not sure how to deal with them.

So today I was riding and my bike kept staling out. It seems to only happen when the choke is off. The bike is warm every thing is fine then boom shuts off. I tried adjusting the carb but I have no knowledge on bikes and I’m learning.

Number two. My air box had the smallest amount of oil in it. I drained the oil and cleaned it all out the filter was try as hell so that’s good but I’m trying to see how I can eliminate the air box completely but all the videos Iv seen don’t really show you how they did it and I’m kinda nervous to fiddle with the bike and ruin something since I sold my car for this bike. Any tips for both of these would be appreciated thank you!!

Yah I’m taking the carb off and cleaning the jets today. I assume oil is gunking it all up. I had oil dripping from the hose that feeds from the air box to the carb.

I looked it up. So it should help the crazy idling issue? I noticed when I give it gas the rpms shoot way to high then boom drop. It’s insane how it could start having this issue over night

. You should do this anyway and at least check it every 500 miles at first, then after 2000 every other oil change.

Also check the intake boot the the carb attaches to and make sure it's not torn. I don't have a link to that part yet, but if it leaks that'll make it run lean and kinda matches your symptoms.

Grin

Thank you!! I got the bike running nice. Cut out the air box and threw an air filter from my go cart straight on the carb and ran the hose from the air box with the pcv valve up the frame. I honestly think the air box is shit considering mine had cracks in the hose running to the carb.
