Dumbest thing I've ever done! Volume I.

I have done some incredibly stupid things before but this one really takes the cake! I went to the auto-parts store for some oil and pulled up to park...I then kicked down the kick-stand (like usual) and assuming it was down...I put my feet back up on the pedals and let the bike lean on the stand (to take my gloves and helmet off)...but what I didn't realize was the stand hadn't fully extended down...and I proceeded to roll right over...knowing in that split second that I was going down! How embarrassing...at least nothing broke...but my ego was in shambles and I rapped my helmet on the asphalt! I probably won't do that again...hopefully!

I've done it more than once. On more than one bike. Lol. Welcome to the clumsy club!

Happens to the best of us. I once took off from a right hand incline not realizing once I kick the sidestand up there`s not a snowball`s chance in hell for me to reach the ground on the right side so down I went over horizontal, shoulder first into the ground.

Icing on the cake?

This is the bike I did it with. The paint job alone cost over a grand. Luckily the crash cage saved me that time so only needed a touch up with a spray can.

I don't know how many times I've seen bikes come up to the stoplight, and no feet comes down 'til the bike starts falling over.
