2020 rps hawk 1000 mile review
Hella all.
Just wanted to drop an update on my hawk. I've done all the standard upgrade to make it usable. Changed and jetted the carb running 110 main stock airbox. Change to a 17/40 sprocket set. Led headlights and taillights. Fitted a small windscreen also added bar end weights and a set of grip puppies. Nelson rig adventure saddle and top bags. Been riding this bike to work often and it's 46 miles each way. Runs and rides very well. Have no major issues to speak of. Do e oil change before start .again at 100 mile and again at 500 miles. At 1000 miles it switched to rotella t6 synthetic and it seems to smooth out the gears and clutch very well. As I said nothing to report as anything wearing or falling off or wearing prematurely. Had been the most fun riding as I've had in years. So for anyone interested in or has a hawk you won't be dissatisfied as it is a good and reliable bike in my opinion. Also if anyone is interested I am on the eat sleep ride app. Phantomspirit is my handle there feel free to check in... Y'all ride safe |

100 mi round trip is quite a commute for 250. You must have everything tightened down really well.
