Newbie in need of Hawk parts
Hello everyone I’m Tony. I have a 2020 Hawk 250 and it did not come with a front axle spacer. I have contacted RPS Powersports to no avail; so I would like to know if anyone here has a spacer for purchase. I am located in PA. Alternatively, are there any other spacers that will fit? Please note this year Hawk has the silver standard front forks, NOT GOLD INVERTED FORKS.

If I get you the measurements for the spacer, are you able to go to a machine shop and get one cut? I can go take my front axle off and measure the spacer for you. I have the digital cluster, but I don't think that makes any difference on the spacer.

I'll get it broken down and get some measurements over to you ASAP. Just the front axle spacer?

Emerikol:
Please disregard, I FINALLY got a hold of RPS power sports and they sent me the correct spacer. This has taken too **** long! It’s time for me to get out and ride!!! I really appreciate your gracious offer of removing your spacer to get me the dimensions. This really is a forum full of some good people. Thanks again!

Redtail, don't even mention it! Because I'm a terrible person, I never even got down there to take it apart. Sorry I didn't hold up my end. Glad you finally have the right part on the way, and that you'll be riding soon. We have a thread on the forum called Pic of the Day. Make sure you head that way and post a few pics of your adventures! Happy riding!

Haha it’s fine! I’m sure you would’ve pulled through eventually… right?
And yes I just got back from a nice 1.5 hour ride!! I have put some miles on it but those were with washers in the front axle to putt it around the yard and charge the battery. I’ll post some pics and posts on here as I ride more and get the hang of the forum. |
