X22GT:: understanding low end pick vs top end speed

Hey everyone!

I'm curious if anyone could explain a little about how this bike's 250 CVT works in regard to making it pick up speed quicker without losing too much top end speed.

Right now I have 400+mi on the engine.

This bike is said to already have a performance CDI from the factory.

I find some information about various gram roller weights and RPMs but much of it seems to be anecdotal.

Currently the bike has 28g weights. It revs to 2.5-3k on take off and maintain 5-6k around 45-60mph.

How would it effect the overall performance if I were to install 20g weights?

How do I know if I have a rev limiter and what are the physical limitations for the Lifan 250 engine?

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. I enjoy learning about this kind of stuff!
