Need help servicing front end
My neighbor bought a maxi-scooter in a bit of a state and we're now trying to get it back to roadworthy but we can't find any info about it whatsoever. All we know is, it is a 2008-2009-ish Jonway YY250 (supposedly a honda copy)
We're currently into swapping out sweaty front shock seals but cannot find anything about what weigh oil we should be putting into the shocks and how much. I have the fill syringe thingy so mm from the top would be an acceptable value if someone would possess this knowledge, or have an educated guess to toss onto the table as currently we don't have much. Even measuring the old oil had little info to be gained as the shocks seemingly have leaked for some time now as there wasn't much oil inside to be measured, most definitely not enough.

I'd see where 1/3-1/4 from the top would get you, they need some air gap to function, but not a crazy amount. If it needs to be stiffer, slowly increase the amount. I'd start with 5w oil, too.

Scratch that upon closer examination the cup part that's holding the seals have badly corroded on both shocks and a new pair was 82€ from Poland so gonna scrap these.
