Big Hole Aero Technology
I know most of you are off roaders but this was pretty cool.
-The biggest barrier to breaking speed records is aero drag (not lack of power). -The Big Hole technology places a hole in the front of the motorcycle fairing, from which a tunnel runs through the bike and out the back. - We may be seeing a lot of speed records fall soon using Big Hole technology. More at the link. https://newatlas.com/motorcycles/wmc...orcycle-v-air/

Sounds like something Bob Lazar spoke of in the past

That's an interesting article. Honestly, I could see a lot of electric records bring broken with this design, but since most motorcycles have an internal combustion engine that needs to be cooled, this design might not be as/more effective as the streamliners that have been used for ages in Bonneville. I wonder what the cd would be compared to a good streamliner. It seemed like they were comparing it to production bikes, not to something like that.

Seems like you could use the big hole tunnel technology on ICE bikes with flat boxer engines like the big BMW airheads and wasserboxers.

It's cool!
I wonder how much of that will carry over to production? I wouldn't think it would handle very well with the weight of the motors and double swingarm moving up and down with the suspension. Also most of the weight is below centerline making it harder to lean. Then theres cost for all those special parts. As for long range electric bike possibilities, I dont see that at all in anything near that design. There will have to be somewhere for a passenger, luggage, and those silly gremlin bells. Lol
