Lifan X-Pect Fork Oil

Anyone on here have experience with changing out the fork oil on one of these? I’ve done a little research on changing the oil viscosity to help tighten up the ride a bit. One guy recommended going up to 15w or 20w for this bike, but I don’t know what comes in them from the factory, so I don’t know if I want to go that heavy (if it comes with 5w, maybe stepping up to 10 might be better?)

I do mostly street riding and I weigh 165 lbs

I don't know if this will help but I just replaced the fork oil in my wife's Magician with 15w. It helped stiffen up the front end a lot, in fact a little too much. I plan on replacing again with 10w which is also what I will be putting in my Hawk.

Try 10w, and if it is still too soft. Try 15. The key is to stick to the same brand of oil as there is no national standard for viscosity, so one companies 10wt might be similar to anothers 15 or 5 wt. I like pj1 fork oil myself, but there are plenty of others put there.

Nobody does, including the factory - LOL

I went with Motul 15w for my Hawk but I'm 230lbs.

Level can have a big effect on "stiffness". Before changing out all that fluid, get a cheap baster, and try drawing out or adding about 1/2" in each tube and see if it gets better. It's real easy but can make a little mess.
If it doesn't help, then go ahead and switch to another oil.
