glass lens for headlight
Do they make a glass lens that will fit retro style scooters? or should i just replace it with a motorcycle one?

glass headlights are basically a thing of the past. They might be available but not nearly in production as mass market plastics.
If you want to find a legit glass lamp then i'd say best bet would be scrounging a motorcycle scrap yard. Do aftermarket glass headlamps exist? sure but they are expensive. Not sure what look you are going for, but just do a basic search in the online product site you prefer and something will come up. benefits of modern aftermarket plastics will likely be less weight, LED, more functionality, plug n go and cheap. |

what i'm looking to do is upgrade the lamp bulb to a krypton one. but they burn hotter and have a tenancy to melt the plastic lens. that's why i was wondering if they made glass ones still.

LED is now comparable or brighter than certain KW HIDs. Also cheaper, and longer lasting with less ancillaries. I'd look into the bulbs first, before going to HIDs.
