Can you please identify this Lifan X-Pect 200 part?

The brass screw bolt with small wire that leads to a plug taped to frame under tank. Behind intake valve. Looks like a sensor to me. I'm an idiot, I know. I've googled for two hours and no parts manual or engine diagram identifies it. Thanks

I third. That is the temp sensor for the engine. Almost the most ideal place to locate it, on the back side of the engine in on of the thickest pieces of metal that is entirely out of direct airflow.

Thanks guys. I was confused because the sensor most often indicated was labeled water temp sensor, often saying for water cooled engine. And there was never a location referenced or pictured.

Aluminum is just like water if you squint hard enough.

The temperature sensor is more than likely for the ECU to adjust the fuel mixture.
