Suggestions for tire upgrades (TBR7 & HAWK)

Whats up chinariders. After researching in my price range & watching Motocheez videos on YT; I decided on a TBR7. I’m still in the break in process but rode in the rain today & was not impressed with the tires on turns. May be just me but a low brand tire on a motorcycle is not a good idea & already planned to change them before I even seen them; but I gave it a shot. At first glance the logo looks just like a FIRESTONE brand; instead it says CARRYSTONE. Lol. They’re great on the dry; don’t get me wrong, I just wish I got more grip the wet.

Looking for tire recommendations. I’m into the supermoto/ street only style, so no nobbies please. Post pics with sizes.

Hey 66,

I have the same bike and I can agree with what you are saying.

I exclusively ride streets and the tires will slippy slip on asphalt a bit on a tight turn.

Before I opted to purchase the bike, the first thing I investigated were if I could source tires - ideally American made and found the below.

DISCLAIMER: I have not purchased new rubber yet and plan to run the stock into the ground first.

TBR7
Tires : Rear--110/90/17 Front--90/90/19

REAR - 2 options, one of which are Pirellis

FRONT - 8 options, including Pirellis, Bridgestone and Dunlop

Tires arent cheap, but at least you are getting a reputable brand.

Enjoy the bike...I loves mine

Hello I'm new here, and have the same question just for dirt tires instead. Also is there another bike with a similar tire size on both front and rear?

I found a set of ICR’s but the front tire is a 100/90-19. Would that fit my stock rim? Also does ICR make a good tire?

You can go as wide as 100/80 or 90 R19 front and 130/80 R17 rear on the TBR7
