Irate What's the most mileage anyone has seen on a Lifan xpect?

I'm planning to tour with the bike. Actually I'm a driveaway driver and I deliver buses. I will load the bike into buses for the short runs we have available then ride it home. Hopefully it's dependable enough for that. I'll be getting a lot of highway (sub 60mph speed limits) miles and expect to break a record on the bikes longevity after a proper break-in period. My biggest concern is that i weigh 285 and falling as its summer time. I intend to take a lot off this year. Hope I'm not asking too much of the bike.

I suggest to change out the countersprocket to a 16 or 17 tooth (stock is 15) since you are planning on cruising on highways at 60 or under. It sounds from most members' experiences that the stock 15 will hit around 65, but with a 17 will add a very few mph, but more importantly less rpm (= less vibration). Most have gone with a 17, but just the other day, and it might have been mentioned on the Facebook group for the X-Pect or China Bikes North America group or here (getting forgetful-ish) that someone was going to go with a 16 on his X-Pect because he does ride on fire roads and sandy conditions.

The guy who posts videos to YouTube regularly has quite a few miles (at least 2000 miles) but not on one long trip. He does take his on offroad conditions found in Florida and seems to enjoy his bike tremendously. His channel is:

I’m at 700 trouble free miles already.

It’s been a very reliable bike so far. Oil changes and a couple chain tightening adjustments. That’s it.

As with anything fossil fuel driven, fuel injection is a game changer.
