Have you tried rocking it back and forth to change the gears?

Make sure the shifter isn't hanging up on something. The lower bolt on the sprocket cover will block it if it backs out.

Yes shipping was changed almost immediately he rode with fresh oil. I’ve tried everything rocking back and fouth still nothing took the shifter off and adjusted it so it wasn’t hiting the bolt nothing when it starts it drives a few feet and stalls out if the clutch is held in the rear whee spins like normal pop the clutch it’s in gear can’t get neutral I’m lost

First thing to do is adjust the clutch lever with minimal play. Neutral is between 1st and 2nd. Pull up lightly on the lever to find neutral. When these bikes are new, neutral is sometimes hard to find until the bike gets some miles on it.

If there is a warrant on it I would take advantage of it. I don't know it these bikes have shifting forks, but one could have broke, or a pin,or set screw that may attach a fork, or some sort of lever,or something to the shifter shaft may have backed out. If you don't think anything internally is loose,or broken, you may try a little more rocking it back, and forth . The bad thing is if you do get it un jammed ,how can you be sure of it not happening again.

That’s what I was thinking as well it’s brand new just received it March 30th took it for 1 ride she stalled out when he turned it back on she stalled again and he walked her home 🤷🏽 I’m trying to get the warranty process going I’m just trying to make sure it’s not user error 1st adjusted clutch etc

The shifter pawl or ratched could also be the culprit if it got bent or damaged during manufacture. Easy to see with the right side cover off.

Drain the oil I’m assuming right and then take the right side case off?

With the bike on the side stand it shouldn't spill any oil, but you can drain it if you want to ensure a potentially smaller mess.
