CT90 t0 Lifan 125
Hey all,
From October till now I have done a Honda Ct90...the original dual sport...conversion to a Lifan 125. Worked thru a lot of issues, but ended up with using the stock intake and a VM26-606 carb. Exhaust is from TboltUSA..the "quiet" pitbike exhaust. Gets up to 50 easy..with about 55 at the top end. Using a 17 front and 45 stock rear sprocket. I previously tried a more mild, stock, approach. Using a CT110 intake and VM20-133 carb, stock CT110 exhaust. Rode out well, but not much better performance than a stock 90.

That's very cool. I'm thinking of doing the same with a ct110 frame.

That looks like a very fun machine. Good job on that. Off-topic; out of curiosity, were you ever able to register the RXB? Did you even attempt it?

Some info if you want it...

I bought a bunch of stuff I didn't need..mainly working out the intake & exhaust situation. Also, how to do the lower engine mount. The DRATV bracket didn't work out for me, but has for others. It is under $20, so worth a try. I ended up just doing a couple of small adapter plates to connect. PO had already routed out the frame for the Lifan bolt locations, so I went with it. Once you get into this, you will know what I mean.

For the RXB150...I couldn't get Colorado plates. Spent a few hours arguing at the DMV. Even tho the MCO said Motorcycle and it had all of the street stuff; it came back in their system as a dirt bike. That was the end of the story. I registered in Vermont and have plates. $130. Will do the same thing with the CT90 if I have issues...since I don't have a title. Cool thing is the Vermont plates are the same color as the old Colorado plates...so less likely Cops will see something out of place.
