2020 brozz seat modification.

I hated the shape of the seat. 1 for looks alone and 2 because it keeps you planted against the gas tank and the ridge makes it so you cant easily shift your weight back on the bike.
I also hated the decals and fake hydro dipped carbon fiber.

That turned out nice. A gripe I have with my tbr7 is on longer road rides I try to stretch and my butt ends up on that "hump" on the seat.

Great job. It really looks sharp. I have been thinking about modifying my seat as well. I would like to scoot back some, but the seat keeps me situated in the dip. Gonna have to wait for some of the new to wear off before I do it. Do not foresee having a passenger, so I'll try to get it as flat as possible. Still breaking in my Bashan BSR 250. Had a beautiful day and rode yesterday.

Thanks there were a few hundred staples holding the cover on. After getting those out I put that red electric tape on the foam til I liked the profile, marked it with a sharpie. I used a sawzall with a 9in sheetmetal blade and a very, very sharp filet knife. Regular foam cuts and also shapes easily with a grinder. The plush memory foam not so much, it bounces around while trying to saw it. The knife was a better tool for this seat. 3m spray adhesive was needed for putting the fabric back on. No staples needed. The base paint was rustoleum gloss winter grey (similar to TRD Pro cement grey). Watched many YouTube videos of rustoleum spray paint jobs that come out amazing. I spent a bunch of time wet sanding the primer and the paint came out very smooth. I decided not to invest a bunch of time wet sanding and polishing the clear coat this time. Want to see how it holds up first

I took a slightly different tack... Move the hump back and flatten as much as possible.
