Apollo RFZ 110CC - Mikuni VM22 Upgrade

I recently swapped/upgraded to the Mikuni VM22 carb on my apollo RFZ 110cc. I notice a lot of play in the throttle, and the cable seems to be too long. The older carb PZ19, I believe, had an elbow on it, and the VM22 does not. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks, I finally received the part, and not it looks like the throttle cable is too short. I am wondering if I need to cut the black housing, it seems like the inner cable is the right size. I believe they call that the offset measurement.

I believe you can carefully remove the chrome cable end at the carb end, slide it down, and then really carefully cut the outer sheathing to the length you need, and then reinstall the cable end.

Thank everyone, but I finally got everything on the bike and it looks like the VM22 is too much carb for the Apollo RFZ 110cc. For now, I am going to go back to a PZ19. I may look at the VM16 in the future, the kiddo needs to get back on the dirt
