VM26 Mikuni
Hello all,
has anyone put a vm26 carb on your TaoTao TBR7 250, I have one on order just wondering what you recommend along with true Mikuni jets that are accurate. I have my stock carburetor tuned to my elevation at 5700 feet hope the same jetting for the real Mikuni |

I don't as of yet because I'm just getting into the vm26 clone myself, but I do live at 6200 elevation, what was your settings on your stock carb? Also, my tt250 carb had a vacuum line that went to the rhs of the carb and the replacement one doesn't have a port here so I have to figure out what to do with that line

I have the stock carb and everything else is stock. I also live at about 5800 feet above sea level. At stock mine is a bit rich at idle, but seems good through the rest of the range. I know this isn't going to answer your VM26 question, but just saying that you definitely won't need to tune it as rich as our buddies at sea level are doing.
