New to forum!!! Qs about carbs!!

hey everyone i have a 250cc quad that i just purchased, i wanted to upgrade the carb due to lack of power and response i believe it comes with a 26mm carb i bought a 30mm carb for it installed it works fine but wanted some input on how to properly tune it i switched out and put a 110 main jet, will the motor be okay or should i have only went up to like a 27 or 28mm carb! any input
