Tao Tao 110cc leaking gas from carb

Hi guys,

I just picked up a 110cc Tao Tao Boulder ATV second hand last week. It runs great, but I did notice the carb is dripping gas out of the bottom spout. I did some Googling and it sounds like I should just replace the carb, but wanted to get some opinions from you guys before doing that.

There's also no fuel shut off valve, just the filter shown in the pic. Do you recommend I order one and put it on? If so, does it go before or after the fuel filter on the line?

I've attached some pics of the carb and air filter. Thoughts? (Sorry, not sure why the first pic of the carb with the drip is showing sideways).

Thanks for your input!

Likely just a tiny piece of debris stuck in the needle valve. Quicker and easier to fix than order a new carb. Note that some carbs have tamper proof screws securing the float bowl. In that case you'll need a Dremmel tool or similar to slot them for a screwdriver.
