Snapped hawk 250 clutch cable

Anyone have the routing diagram or info on the clutch cable? Starting to think that the tt250 cable isn’t a direct fit or my plates or extremely worn (worked fine before the Original cable broke). Had to jerry rig it (sorry jerry) to get it home. Pl0x also I wouldn’t mind grabbing an adjustable nibbi cable if anyone can post links, no I can’t match cables mine snapped on US1 and the barrel is gone lol.

Thanks guys! My nissans kaput atm I have to change the intake manifold and I’d way rather fix a clutch cable atm. Vacuum hoses aren’t friendly on a 97.

Easiest way is to route it before you take off the old one. Remember to adjust for minimal freeplay at the lever

I did look at routing obviously, but the cable I have now is way too long. Again to reiterate if anyone has an actual routing diagram or picture even since there is a lot of different wiring and upgrades on the bike maybe I missed something by the triple tree. If anyone can I’ll take a link as well to something that might actually fit, even my stock cable felt way too long, the one on now is by no means going to be able fit properly without putting shins.

Anyone know how long the stock cable is? No I can’t measure it not what I’m asking lol, cable snapped and barrel/ end piece are gone.

Appreciate the help.

I'll see if I can take some pictures of how mine is ran tomorrow. I know the stock cable was on the long side.

Thank you, I know. Passes through the hook and loops up and I routed it the same, however when I got the bike I did notice it ran different than the picture of the tt250 cable although they appeared to be identical.

I know I had rerouted mine a couple of times so it wouldn't get smashed in the steering.

Going to get a coupling nut and use my dremel with a thin circle metal blade to cut the adjustment crew at the top in half. Should work fairly well for the time being , I’ll leave more meat on the one end. I got some shims coming in that were cheap and hopefully work.

Actually the bike shop probably has something similar or just a good size adjustment screw if not I can take the threads off that for the other side of the coupling nut.

Sorry but I forgot all about taking a picture. Too busy riding. lol You should have an adjustment nut by the clutch lever and engine already.
